Welcome to the Welcome Guide

hey you,
It’s officially officIal!

We get to work together! I am beyond honored you chose me to document your best day ever.

This guide is your one stop shop for all the deets.

The Process

Your vendor list is probably a mile long and too many processes and details to keep track of. Here’s how it works on my end.

  • We meet and feel out if we’re a good fit.

  • We nail down a proposal which you sign, officially booking me as your photographer. YAY!

  • We plan your engagement sesh. Keep scrolling for how that works. We can plan via email or set up a call to talk specifics.

  • Around 2 months from your date, I’ll send over a questionnaire for you to complete. This is full of all the good info I’ll need to help ensure things run smoothly photo wise.

  • About 6 weeks out from your date, I’ll send over a wedding day timeline for you to review and give me the thumbs up.

  • We (me and a second shooter) arrive at your venue to document your day!

  • Check your email! 1-2 days after your wedding, a sneak peek album will be waiting for you.

  • Your final images are in your email 6-8 weeks after your date.

  • Me insta hype womaning you forever and ever cause I love ya!

Engagement Photos

Consider this a fun, no pressure opportunity to get to know each other and document who you two are when you're just hangin out.

  • Nailing down a location is a great place to start when planning your engagement session. There are so many location choices, I know it can be downright overwhelming!

  • Maybe with some wine? IDK, but probably yes wine.

    • What comes to mind?

    • What makes sense for the two of you? Where do you feel most yourselves?

    • Does going for a hike or long walks with your pups sound like you? A nature location is totally your vibe.

    • Or maybe grabbing a beer at a local brewery or picking up coffee and walking around North Loop makes more sense!

Look good, feel good

First things first, go on and treat yourself. You want to feel your very best for your session so you feel relaxed and at your best. So…

  • Get a fresh mani

  • Have your ring cleaned

  • Schedule a hair appointment (Shoot for 1-2 weeks out!)

  • Plan out your outfits - try to coordinate for neutrals, avoid being matchy-matchy, and literally, any plaid.

DAY OF YOUR SESSION

Try on your outfits - make sure they fit and you feel comfortable. But more importantly, completely yourself in them.

Nervous? Have a drink and shake it out together! I promise, I will be way more of a dork than you ever could be.

Have fun!
