Wedding days are equal parts fun chaos and beautifully intimate moments and you deserve to be present for every second of it. Choosing who will capture your day is not just as simple as who will be pressing the shutter but who will make you feel seen, help you clasp your shoes when you can’t see your toes over your dress, share “How To Tie a Bow Tie” videos on YouTube, hand your mom a tissue and jam out to Kendrick during golden hour. Investing in someone who prioritizes being part of your wedding day, not just posing you is key. You look most like yourselves when you’re surrounded by your favorite people, having fun. Keeping you in those moments, letting your day unfold naturally is my cup of tea. As a photographer, it is my greatest joy to capture images that feel like you (just the hottest version of you) on your favorite day. Sound like we might vibe?

ENGAGEMENT Photography

Engagement sessions are included in every package I offer because I believe they are essential to being able to truthfully document your day. A huge element of telling your love story starts with me getting to know who the two of you are on any given day. Your engagement session is an opportunity for me to learn how you interact together, hear your inside jokes and nicknames for each other and is a little window into how you do life with each other. As a Minneapolis engagement photographer, planning a session that highlights the fun, easy moments of your love is my favorite place to start. So let’s head to the place you met, your favorite coffee shop or even the home you’ve built together - I am down for a good time!

No matter how many people give you the advice “slow down and take it all in” ahead of your wedding day, it will fly by. Wedding days are unpredictable, fun and full of unexpected, joyful moments.My approach is a blend of intentionality and documentary styles to give you a truly complete view of your wedding day. Setting aside time for more intentional, directed moments with just the two of you, your wedding party and family assures that we’re capturing your favorite people in this moment in time. Blending those intentional moments with all the other spontaneous, candid, had to be there moments that your day is actually made up of results in images that you’ll pour over fifty years later. Above all else, I want you to be able linger in moments that you’ll miss and have the time of your life!

As sad as we are that our wedding is over, we could not be happier with Lexi and her team. She was very communicative leading up to the wedding, from asking what we specifically wanted pictures of to creating a schedule for everything that would happen throughout the day. LEXI IS AN AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER

From our first conversation, she made my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable, even as two people who hate getting our photos taken. We had a wonderful time with her during our engagement shoot - half the time I forgot we were having photos taken because of how she directed us. We got some beautiful shots to use for our wedding website and save the dates. On the actual wedding day, she helped manage all the family and bridal party photos when needed but then seemed invisible most of the time! It made getting the photos back even more exciting because I had no idea how much she and her second shooter had been shooting all night! Lexi also is incredibly responsive and quick with her turn around time! If you want amazing pictures but don’t feel super comfortable in front of the camera, I cannot recommend her enough.
